Today is a great day just like any other day to take your bike for a ride around the city. So get your bike and get going before the sun goes down.

Before you do that, make sure you check the air pressure in your tires. Having tires low on pressure will only make you work harder than you really have to while out enjoying that ride around the city. Make sure your bike is lubed and tuned so you can get the most out of your bike ride.

Watch out for any potholes or other hazards which may cause a flat tire. We don't like to get flat tires but at times, they just happen. Another great thing to help if you just happen to get a flat tires is to always carry a spare tube, pump and tools needed to replace your tube.

Drink plenty of liquids. You must get them fluids back into your system. So while you sweat, make sure you drink plenty of water.

Last but not least, enjoy the ride.

51mm Single Speed/ Fixed Gear Wheelset with sealed bearings

You have been waiting for a larger and bigger deep v wheel? Well here it is.  We first saw these wheels at the Interbike show in Las Vegas, NV. 2010. We decided to place a large enough order since these have not been on the market for the fixed gear community.

The New 51mm 700c Deep V double wall single speed/ fixed gear wheels. This wheel is manufactured by Star wheels in China. These wheels come with high flange sealed bearing hubs with solid axels. The cog/ lockring and freewheel are included. Stainless steel spokes and nipples. They are flip flop wheels so you can use them as single speed or fixed gear. They are all anodized colors except for the black and white which are powder coated. You can install 700x23 tires all the way up to 700x35c tires if you would like.

We will be building these same wheels as coaster brake wheels for those who are not into fixed gear bikes. What is a coaster brake? Simply just kick the pedals back and the bike will stop. The brake will be built into the rear hub like those old beach cruisers you used to ride on.
